travel europe united kingdom northern ireland the giant's causeway

The Giant's Causeway, a group of unusual shaped basaltic rock formations, is located on the northern wind-swept coast of Northern Ireland.
There is a large modern visitor's center with a restaurant and restrooms from which a long down-hill walk or a shuttle bus takes you to the site of the causeway.
Perhaps it was the crowds, but, while still a fascinating natural phenominem, the causeway itself left me a bit under-whelmed.
Expect large crowds.
